About

I specialize in one-on-one individual counseling for teenagers and adults. I also specialize in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community—especially those struggling to reconcile their sexual orientation and their faith. I seek to be nonjudgmental and unshockable as a counselor. I am comfortable discussing difficult topics and enjoy helping people through the angst and confusion that comes with life. I have a desire to help others after going through my own spiritual journey of healing and transformation.

Though my background and approach is centered on integrating spirituality with emotional health, I welcome people of all faiths or non-faith. I want you to feel comfortable opening up about anything you are going through. I plan on sharing some insight and wisdom so you can find strength for today and hope for tomorrow. I'm excited to be on this journey and am passionate about helping you weave a transformative story of your own.

Practice Description

Arizona Christian Counseling provides counseling for adults, teens, children, couples, and families. A Christian counselor is not just a counselor who is a Christian. Rather, it means a trained counselor who practices from a Christian worldview in their approach.

Our providers are pastoral counselors which means they have formal theological training in addition to their counseling expertise in various spiritual, emotional, and relational issues. Pastoral counseling integrates the insights of Christian spirituality with counseling skill and theory. Our pastoral counselors are either: ordained clergy who have graduate training in pastoral care and are board certified by a national organization in pastoral counseling—or—state licensed counselors who have graduate training in counseling but also additional training in theology and psychospiritual integration.

Therapy has a bad reputation of being a long drawn-out process where much is discussed and little is achieved. An effective counselor has the specialized knowledge to actually give you the key to your own transformation. We are dedicated to providing as many tools and strategies for your healing as possible. Our goal is to help you feel better as you grow closer to God and those you love.

We are a small practice and purposely choose to work with a smaller client base. Because of this, you will not need to worry about being double-booked or constantly fighting our schedule to get an appointment. We do not have a waiting list. You are more than a number and we are fully dedicated to helping you through your situation.
