I am a retired Pastor of 32 years. I have served in the counseling ministry for over 35 years. My training on the graduate level is in the field of biblical counseling. I grew up in eastern N.C. and currently reside in Pitt County. I enjoy guitar and singing.
In the past I have served as Executive Director of a biblical counseling center in Kinston, NC for over 10 years, pastored 5 churches in N.C., and am currently serving as Executive Director of a 501(c3) addiction recovery program, LIFE Ministries, which I founded in 2016. My strengths in counseling include substance abuse, marital, and emotional struggles such as depression and anxiety.
I have been healed from drug addiction and alcoholism, living clean and sober for over 35 years. My wife Melissa and I have been married for 38 years and I have three daughters. I have authored: "Casting Down Idols" (which tells my story of recovery) L.I.F.E. Ministries (a 40 week curriculum for overcoming addiction)
