Asking for help is hard.

I have a passion for helping marriages, families and individuals heal the painful parts of their lives that have held them back from thriving in every area of their life. The family system, whether our family of origin or our current family, plays such an important part in shaping the way we see and operate in this world and I am excited to help people learn how to operate and thrive within their family systems. Through my training at Fuller Theological Seminary and my 15 years as a pastor in the local church, I have gained an appreciation for relational dynamics seeing how there is hope for everyone no matter what type of trauma or pain one may have experienced in life. I have also been trained in Level 1 and Level 2 of the Gottman Method of Couples Training and I am a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and SYMBIS facilitator. In session I use a variety of methodologies based on what may be most beneficial for that session including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative therapy, Solution focused therapy and others through the guidance of professional peers and supervisors. I have learned that to help clients heal and be successful in their relationships and in life it takes patience and working together to achieve success and healing.
