Richard Dion, known by all of his clients as "Mr. Rick". is a Tennessee state licensed Professional Counselor. Mr. Rick graduated from Liberty University with a BS in Psychology (Magna cum Laude) and minor in Christian Counseling in 2014. Then again in 2016 with his MA in Professional Counseling. In September 2021, Mr. Rick earned became certified Professional Counselor through University of Tennessee and the International Association of Professional Recovery Coaches. Mr. Rick is also a 20 plus year honorably retired United States Navy veteran, since 2006. Since 2016 Mr. Rick has worked with Level 3 crisis residential children and adolescents at a local campsite themed facility ; residential children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in crisis (suicide, abuse, addiction, etc.) at a local crisis intervention hospital; and at an adult residential program for alcohol and substances use addiction. Since 2020 Mr. Rick has owned and operated his own private practice, focused on demonstrating God's unconditional love to those seeking for peace and freedom form their burdens , by standing in the gap with Christ.
Broken Vessels Counseling, PLLC. is a one owner and one Therapist practice , which makes it a small practice that is person centered at its core. We are located in the majestic Smokey Mountain region of Tennessee, known as Knoxville. Broken Vessels mission is to show the love of God through coming alongside those who are suffering in darkness of trauma, grief, addiction, infidelity, etc. We provide help through telehealth, home visits, phone sessions, and soon in our own office building nestled in our own back yard for added privacy and peace. Broken Vessels Counseling's integrative ability to bridge todays modern mental health modalities with Christ centered and Biblical principles, in a non bias, nonjudgmental environment that promotes acceptance, safety, and unconditional love of God. Broken Vessels operates according to your schedule and needs as best as we can. Currently our hours of service are Monday through Monday from 08:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We are presently working on obtaining our Clinical Mental health specialist certification, which is required to bill insurance and diagnose. Presently our cost per session is 65.00 dollars for individual session to 75.00 dollars per session for Marital Counseling. By collecting payment by cash only allows us to work with our clients with no set time restrictions for working on personal issues in therapy, which are common with todays Corporate insurance companies. Broken Vessels works at your speed until you complete all your initially stated goals for therapy that you chose to work on.
