Asking for help is hard.

I was born in Akron, Ohio in December of 1961, the third of 4 children. The family moved to West Virginia when I was about 2 years old. We moved around many times due to family difficulties (you may hear of some of them during counseling). I graduated in 1980 from Charleston High School in Charleston, WV. I have worked in the coal fields, the chemical industry, the pharmaceutical industry and in ministry. I spent 14 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic, 4+ years in the United States Army as a Medic and Surgical Technician. I am married to my best friend and together we have 6 (six) wonderful children. What I like most about my career as a Counselor is that I GET to study the Word of God EVERY DAY. What we aspire to do is use all of the tools at our disposal (experiences, knowledge, wisdom, education and just plain love for my fellow man) to try to bring some comfort and peace into your life. Everyone (AND I MEAN, EVERYONE) has difficulties and troubles, some of us just need help getting over the hump and through the forest. No one has been through what YOU have been through but we all need a little help every once in a while.
