To those who know me best, I am considered a genuine “Encourager” of people, compassionate yet direct. You do not have to journey through this season of life alone. I seek to create a safe and confidential space for children, adults, couples, and families to process life and find greater purpose, healing and joy. I have graduate degrees in both theology and counseling with over 20 years of experience in pastoral ministry and the mental health field. I enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds in a strengths-based way that infuses hope. I utilize faith-based, Christian counseling for interested individuals and integrate a variety of relational and experiential approaches for all (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy). My systems’ training as a state certified family-based therapist will help you identify patterns in your relationships and thinking that will give you new insights and tools for change. I frequently provide helpful psychoeducation and assertiveness training to strengthen your interpersonal skills. My experiences include but are not limited to working with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, grief, addiction (substance use and sexual), child and family relational issues and couple/marriage conflict. It would be an honor to walk alongside you in a caring and collaborative way to help you move forward with your goals.
