About

I offer therapy through a Biblical framework, committed to seeking healing for the whole person. My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I focus on using Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) as my primary approach to psychotherapy. You and I will work together in the context of a safe, trusting relationship to look at the areas in your life where you feel as if you’re stuck.  We are created to connect to each other, and in therapy you’ll discover that we heal through relating. The wounds that took place in relationships must be healed in a relationship. Disruption of secure connections with others is the reason for emotional pain and suffering. I am eager to partner in your healing, and to help you unlock freedom in your life so that you can fully experience the peace and joy that are yours in Christ.

Practice Description

I offer therapy to young adults, adults, and couples. I see patients in-person as well as online. I believe that God uses therapy as a tool to bring insight, healing, and growth to those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and relationship difficulties. It is my honor to walk beside you wherever you are on your journey. Check out my website kirstengamst.com for more information about me.
